Rainbow Initiative Sierra Leone is a registered NGO actively involved across the country supporting survivors of Sexual Gender Base Violence (SGBV), by providing free lifesaving medical care including examination, treatment, psychosocial counselling, and referrals. Through its work, Rainbo has built deep roots in the health sector in the country, public and private with strong community outreach model for successfully raising awareness SGBV, where to access its services and how to tackle SGBV thereby generating a space for collaborative synergies to fight against SGBV.

OJP Legal as part of its “we give back” has joined Rainbo in this fights by entering into a partnership to provide pro bono services to it. The services would be cross-cutting with OJP’s portfolio but would range from providing guidance on the regulatory regime relating to SGBV, policy support in mitigating cases SGBV; guidance on compliance with local and international standards applicable in Sierra Leone; reviewing and proffering advice on contracts, legal instruments, partnership agreements, service agreements, and such other legal support that Rainbow may require in the course of its operations.
